
Sean Kelly of SM Lawnmowers approached us to design and build a website for his business.
Sean’s requirements were for a user-friendly site which would showcase the range of products he has to offer. He also wanted to be able to keep the site updated himself.

Wide Variety of Products
One of Sean’s aims was to show visitors he sold other gardening equipment besides lawnmowers. We did this by:
- including a variety of product photos in the banner
- including a sub-menu on each page listing product categories
- incorporating a slideshow on the homepage showing variety of products on display in his location
In the banner we also highlight that Sean is located in County Longford and has been doing business for over 14 years.
The phone number is prominent to encourage spur of the moment contact.

Product Category Pages
We decided to have dedicated a page for each product category to assist in search engine performance.

Each product category has a dedicated page with product descriptions and photos.
Business Location
As S&M Lawnmowers is located a few miles outside Longford town, we included a Google map highlighting the location of the business.
Search Engines
The site has been optimised for search engines and is performing very well for the search terms Sean has an interest in.
Google Analytics
We also set up Google Analytics on the site. This gives Sean a detailed view of who is visiting his website, how they found his site, and what pages are popular on the site.
Content Management
As Sean was interested in keeping the site up-to-date himself, we built the site using Wordpress. This system allows Sean have full control over all text and photos on the website.
