In September we completed the design and development of an ecommerce clothing website Kingsize.ie. The website is targeted at Ireland’s larger men.
We used an off-the-shelf shopping cart system to build the website, but customised it to give the site its own unique look.
Kingsize.ie staff manage site content with an easy-to-use content management system. This gives them have full control over all product information (pricing, photos, stock, descriptions etc) as well as general non-product information.
We integrated Realex as the payments mechanism on the site. This facility allows Kingsize.ie accept credit cards and laser cards.
The KingSize.ie homepage showcases a selection of the wide product range available on the site.
The site contains many front-end and back-end features including:
- comprehensive content management system
- order management system
- shopping cart system
- best selling products list
- featured products
- site search facility
- customer login
- mailing list
We incorporated Google Analytics to monitor visitor behaviour on the site. This allows Kingsize.ie track visitor activity from the moment they find the website to when the same visitor makes a transaction. This allows Kingsize.ie identify the sources of traffic (referring websites, marketing campaigns etc) that are driving converting traffic to the site.
A full-featured order processing system makes administration easy for staff.
