Create Interactive recently designed and developed a website for Longford Sports Partnership. LSP was set up under the auspices of Longford County Development Board and it’s goal is to increase participation in sport and physical recreation in County Longford.
Following a successful tender for the site, we met with LSP staff to discuss and refine their site specification. The brief was for a modern, well designed, user-friendly website which would be a useful resource for sporting organisations in Longford.
We prepared a number of designs for LSP, who chose one design which we refined further. Once the design was agreed upon we began developing the site. At all times usability and accessibility were to the fore in design and build.

Site content includes upcoming events, a club directory, a facilities directory, a photo gallery, useful links, and downloads. Content is accessed using traditional navigation and a search facility.
We built a full-featured Content Management System which enables staff to keep site content up-to-date. Staff can edit text, add & remove pages, update the sports directory and add/remove photos.
Clubs can submit their details to the club directory
We set up Google Analytics so that LSP staff can monitor visitor activity on the website. Staff have a login which allows them access reports which allows them identify how visitors are finding the site, what content is popular, what documents are being downloaded etc. This information allows staff improve the site on an ongoing basis.
